The Rector conveyed several important messages to the appointed officials. First, implementing the duties of the study program chairman and study program secretary is the spearhead in organizing education.
Prodi is expected to produce alumni who become problem solvers for problems related to their scientific fields and contribute to the progress of Indonesia. According to the Rector, these two things will become the profile of graduates from the Nutrition Undergraduate Program.
"For approximately eight semesters, students must graduate in 4 years; after becoming alumni in six months, they can work. It is not an easy job to get this graduate profile," he said.
Second, the Rector advised that study programs are required to be able to adjust the learning process according to the times, where all work processes already need technology. The head of the study program must invite lecturers to change their way of learning and understand the characteristics of students.
"We must not be nostalgic in the learning process; we must be able to develop ways of teaching because the development of science is a very open resource. The Gen Z and the millennial generation character are unique; we must be able to encourage them," he continued.
