USU HR Bureau Workshop on Handling Discipline of Lecturers and Education Staff

The Human Resources Bureau of the Universitas Sumatera Utara held a Workshop on Handling Disciplinary Problems of Lecturers and Education Personnel of the Universitas Sumatera Utara, Wednesday (9/11/2022).
The activity lasted for 2 days, from November 9-10, 2022 at LePolonia Hotel, by inviting the State Personnel Agency (BKN) Medan City as a resource person.
In his remarks, Vice Rector II for Human Resources and Finance of Universitas Sumatera Utara Muhammad, Arifin Nasution, S.Sos., M.SP., said that this activity was held with the aim of revamping the basic foundations of human resources at Universitas Sumatera Utara.
"Yesterday we discussed in the leadership that we must achieve international targets. For that there are many things that must be achieved, there is a deputy director who certainly handles specifically related to international, "he said.
In addition, this activity is related to Government Regulation (PP) Number 94 of 2021 concerning the discipline of work unit leaders.
Eni Nuraini, S.H., M.H. explained that the purpose of this activity is to improve discipline in civil servants in the USU environment.
"The workshop is held or participants are unit leaders or direct superiors who have the authority to be able to impose disciplinary penalties on civil servants who commit civil servant violations," he said.
The participants who took part in this activity consisted of unit leaders who had the authority to be able to impose disciplinary penalties on civil servants who committed violations.
Eni Nuraini, SH, MH. hopes that participants can enforce discipline in the USU environment and can implement it in their respective units in order to organize the orderly implementation of tasks at the Universitas Sumatera Utara.
"The hope is that the participants can understand the enforcement of civil servant discipline at the Universitas Sumatera Utara, so that we can jointly ensure the orderly implementation of tasks at the Universitas Sumatera Utara," she concluded.
