Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) successfully conducted the Basic Skills Selection for Career Development of Educational Staff on Monday, January 20, 2025. This event aimed to enhance the quality and competence of educational staff at USU and provide them with opportunities for career advancement.
The event took place at the USU Information System Center and was attended by educational staff with the status of civil servants and permanent staff, with a minimum rank of III a. The basic skills selection covered areas such as Managerial Skills (Integrity, Cooperation, Communication, Change Management, Result Orientation, Public Service, and Self and Others Development), Social Cultural Materials, and Technical Materials (Student Affairs, Finance, Human Resources, Information Technology, and Research Collaboration).
This selection is part of the university's commitment to improving human resources quality, particularly educational staff who play a crucial role in supporting the educational and administrative processes on campus. Educational staff are an integral part of the success of higher education. Through this activity, it is hoped that their competencies will be enhanced to provide optimal support for the teaching and learning process and create a more productive and professional work environment.
USU hopes that this selection activity will have a positive impact on creating higher-quality educational staff, which in turn can significantly contribute to improving the quality of education at the university.
